College Search GamePLAN is a division of Strategies For College, Inc., a Vermont corporation founded in 1990 by Todd Fothergill. The CSGP content is a direct spin-off of content developed in the private practice by Todd Fothergill, Thomas McGrath and others. The CSGP team has assisted more than 4,000 families nationally for over 20 years. We have interacted through engagements with individual clients, public and private high schools and the professional financial services community.
Our students consistently outperform national averages in college admissions and receive ample merit scholarships regardless of family income. Need based financial aid typically satisfies 80% or more of our clients’ financial need. Our students typically graduate in four years, which eliminates the cost of attendance in a fifth or sixth year (in which merit scholarship money no longer exists). National averages for graduation now exceed five years.
We also provide training for professional organizations like NAPFA, FPA and the Boston Tax Institute. The content included in the Professional Membership has been accepted by the CFP Board for Continuing Education Credits.
Not only is the team experienced in counseling, the members are also highly qualified in academics. Combine that knowledge and experience with all the time spent “in the trenches” with families traveling on the path to college, and it comes as no surprise that we are successful with, and appreciated by our clients. Our team has extensive experience in all aspects of college search, admissions, and student financial aid.
This experience has involved not just “hands on” work with students and parents, but also the development of proprietary tools and systems that have enabled our clients to attain the best college education with a minimum of financial stress. Subscribers to the College Search GamePLAN membership have affordable access to expert instruction and proven tools and data that will enable a highly successful college search.
